Shear & Lock Fracturing Sleeve
The
shear & lock fracturing sleeve is used as the first stage fracturing sleeve
that could be sheared open at an accurate pressure value. The tool is run above
the flow collar with sleeves closed, the string could be circulated. After the
setting ball is dropped and the packers are all set, further pressuring up on
the tubing would snap the shear pins to open the sleeve, then fracturing
pumping could be initiated.
The
sleeve has an internal lock design that once it is open by differential
pressure, it could not be pushed back, which eliminates the risk of sleeve
closing during fracturing.
The
activating force could be adjusted by replacing shear pins. Alloy steel is used
by default and anti-corrosion materials could be selected as an option.
